EcoProof Metal Primer is a highly efficient single pack polyurethane anticorrosive solvent-based moisture curing primer.

EcoProof Metal Primer is a product which has a unique system with zinc and micaceous iron oxide (MIO). These components yield a reliable long-term coating with corrosion protection and barrier properties for prepared steel surfaces.

This primer can be used on poorly prepared steel surfaces, prior to protective or waterproofing membranes.

The primer can be applied at high relative humidity, sub-zero temperatures and without restrictions on dew point. Has no restriction on the maximum overcoating time.

Surfaces primed with EcoProof Metal Primer have a high coefficient of friction (0.47 at +20°c), which allows application of primer to contacting surfaces of bolted connections and does not require subsequent removal of the coating is assembled.

EcoThane is a single component, wet on wet pure polyurethane waterproofing system. Designed for ease of use, exceptionally elastic and hard wearing with a 25-year life expectancy. Ideal for application over most surfaces, EcoThane is fully bonded and seamless and designed for flat and low-pitch roofs.

This waterproofing product offers coverage of 1ms per 1.5kg when applied wet on wet. It should be applied as 1kg, then reinforcement matting, then a further 0.5kg. High performance and easy to install, this single component waterproofing system comes with a 10-year guarantee and a 25-year life expectancy.

EcoThane PU waterproofing is showerproof in one hour but must be applied over the top of the EcoThane PU Primer.

EcoThane PU Primer – 4kg

EcoThane PU Primer is a single component product used to prepare the surface of GRP AND Single Ply prior to the application of the EcoThane Waterproof System. It’s designed for flat & low-pitched roofs, offering coverage of 25m2 per 5kg.

EcoThane PU Primer is fast curing so allows for the same day application of waterproofing. Before applying ensure the surface is cleaned and free from any debris or grease. Repair all damages and fill any voids before applying to a rate of 0.2kg per 1m2.

The average cure time is between 15 minutes and 2 hours dependent on the surface, the temperature and of course, weather conditions. Do not apply this primer when rain is forecasted.

This product comes with a 10-year guarantee when installed to instructions.
